Just because we work with mostly women, and think women are generally smarter and cooler in every way, doesn't mean we don't value men's skin health, too! Father's Day is right around the corner, so it's a good time to treat your man to a skincare routine and/or a facial at home.
The few men I interact with in my daily life are all on a skincare routine, and they all LOVE it. It took me years watching my husband use a 3n1 to wash his face to finally convince him that his skin would feel better with better quality products, and one day he finally asked me to get him a routine. He said his skin had never felt cleaner. (He also said the CBD Mist made his face feel cleaner, but it's a serum so I'm not sure how? But whatever- he uses it so we're chalking it up to a positive review.)
Men's skin is a little different than women's. It's usually oilier and they typically have larger pores. They also have beard and/or shave, so that can play a part in what products they need. In my experience with guys, the simpler the better. They also LOVE a spray and a mud mask, which is hilarious and cute. Here are the well-tested and beloved products that will work with every man in your life.
Glycolic Cleanser - This exfoliating cleanser will help remove the dirt, sweat, and oil while providing anti-aging benefits.
CBD Mist - Every boy's favorite. This hydrating spray serum gives a dose an antioxidants, while also reducing the look of pores, balancing the skin, fighting acne, reducing inflammation and works for all skin types.
Tizo Primer SPF (Tinted or Non-Tinted) - The ultimate SPF that doesn't feel like SPF at all. If you didn't tell them what it is, they would never guess sunscreen. Plus, the tinted isn't pigmented enough to feel like makeup, so it's not too much for guys.
If your man struggles with acne or some other skin condition, you can always gift him a consultation with yours truly and we'll get him set up on the perfect routine. If you're in Southern Pines, book him a facial for June 29th!
And of course, Happy Father's Day to all the amazing dad's out there. We love you guys for taking out the trash, mowing grass, and loving your babies more than anything!
